How to get magnet slime out of the carpet

When you are trying to get magnet slime out of the carpet, first you should use a volatile solvent and then heat up the product with a carpet steamer. Then when the slime is not hard anymore and it is soft use a non volatile solvent to rinse it all away. Solvent gels work very well. Sometimes there is a dye stain left behind and when that happens you have to use some Red Relief and a steamer to get the color out of the carpet. Then we rinse it all out with our powerful truckmount carpet cleaning equipment. This process takes some time but works well if done right.

Our kids spilled a big batch of ‘Slime’ on the carpet, and it hardened and we couldn’t get it out. We called, and they were there within the hour. They got the slime out, and went above and beyond in cleaning additional areas. A+++++++ We will definitely be using them in the future.

How to get cat urine out of the carpet

Dealing with cat urine in the carpet sometimes you have to pull back the carpet and clean and treat both sides of the carpet. On this job the pad has a moisture barrier but other times you have to replace the pad and seal the subfloor. First we treated both sides of the carpet , the tackboard and the top of the pad. Then we let the product set for a while and work. It is important to put plastic down under the carpet to keep the urine from spreading. Then we cleaned both sides of the carpet and wiped down the top of the pad and the bottom of the base board. We also used a water claw to clean the carpet right through the carpet fibers and the backing of the carpet. When the pet stain and the odor was gone we put the carpet back down and clean the top of the carpet again and set up an airmover and left it over night to dry. Flushing out the urine salts and killing the bacteria is what needs to be done .The urine salts keeps the carpet wet for months allowing the bacteria to grow. The urine in the carpet is the food source for the bacteria and the urine salts holds the moisture that the bacteria needs to grow. The urine salts and the bacturia put off an off gas and that is was the foul odor is in the carpet. Carpet cleaning the Highland Utah Police Station. We first cleaned all the carpet at the police station and the court house in Highland Utah with our powerful truckmount steam cleaning machine and when we were done we went back over the traffic area with a bonnet machine with some carpet protector. Then we set up airmovers and left them over night to help the drying process. Cleaning the city building took us three days to clean all the carpet, and tile. The first day we cleaned all the carpet, the 2nd day we cleaned the holding cells cement floor and all the VCT tile, the third day we cleaned all the tile and grout in all the bathrooms and the police station entryway. Should I clean or stretch the carpet first

I think you should have the carpet stretched first. It is important to get the carpet stretched so the backing does not seperate where the wrinkles are in the carpet. When you do have your carpet stretched make sure they are using a power stretcher. Pulling the carpet from one wall to the other with poles. After the carpet is stretched , if it is done right the carpet will not wrinkle after getting your carpet cleaned. Where the wrinkles were the carpet will have dirty and worn areas where the bumps were from people dragging their feet over the bumps. Then the carpet cleaner will try to make it look even again, this is why you should get the carpets stretched first. A lot of times there is a bunch of loose carpet fibers all over the carpet after the carpet layers are done and the carpet cleaner can make sure to pick up all of the loose fibers with their vacuum cleaner. If you go to Stainmaster website it says you should get your carpets cleaned every 18 months or it will void the warranty of the carpet. So in that case, I think you should get your carpet cleaning done every year. It is just fabric like your clothes they just need to be washed once in a while if they look dirty or not. They still need to be cleaned, because some of the odors and small dirt you might not see, but getting them cleaned every year will keep your carpets healthy and make them last much longer. The best thing you can do is vacuum your carpet regularly to get all the dry soil in the carpet that might scratch and damage the fibers of your carpet.
